The registration fee includes lunch, coffee and access to conference facilities. Students are eligible to apply for a travel award if abstract is accepted.

"A One Health Approach in Geospatial Health” will provide a forum on the relationship between health, humans, animals and the environment.

The meeting will include invited speakers and the possibility to present results of submitted abstracts. The symposium is held prior to the XIIth International Congress of Parasitology (ICOPA) held in Melbourne, Australia from August 15-20,2010. On Monday, August 16, 2010 GnosisGIS  is responsible for a special ICOPA session entitled: “Geospatial Health: predicting distribution of parasitic diseases”.  It is recommended that all GnosisGIS members attending our symposium on August 13 and 14, 2010  also come to this special event.
